We design and manufacture professional audio equipment for the entertainment industry. You can rely on DAP Audio, for more excellent audio products. Whether you want simple plug-&-play action or a sophisticated show, this product provides the effect you need. The DAP Audio Soundmate 2 brings excitement to any venue. Sorry for the ramble of a first post, I'm more of a muso with aspirations of engineering so forgive me if I'm a not entirely up to speed.Congratulations! You have bought a great, innovative product from DAP Audio. So, what are your experiences of the Soundmate 3? How does it compare to the similar Actor DX? I'd be really interested to hear the opinions of those who run one of these. I am however aware of the DAP Audio Soundmate 3 Mk II and I was wondering how many of you had experience of this system? I did a forum search and there seems to be only a little info on it from a while back (albeit reasonably positive). The mackie stuff is okay, but I quite like H&K stuff (we use 4 D.A.R.Ts as monitors) however our budget of £3k doesn't quite stretch to an Actor DX. I'd like to get a system that would cover most eventualities for us, ideally Active (so an idiot like me can set it up ** laughs out loud **), for crowds between 100-400, pubs, small to medium halls, and the odd marquee and small outdoor gigs. We've recently been using Mackie Active stuff (2x SR1530z and 2x SWA1501) that we've borrowed. I'm currently playing in a rocky poppy 5 piece cover band (2x vox, 2x guitar, bass, drums) and the time has come to invest in our own PA.
